Building a child's daily routine.
Every adult decides to live in his regime or to live "outside" it. We regulate our daily lives according to our living conditions and biological clock, habits and needs . For example, employees need to wake up early, and freelancers can sleep until later.
But these are the adults. And are children free to choose options ? More precisely, are we free to choose the options for children? The current generation of parents has grown up with a "regime", but is this approach also suitable for the current generation of children?
Daily routine - this is the distribution of time for various activities throughout the day. It balances the periods between work, rest, sleep and eating. The regime is an integral part of the upbringing of children. However, not all parents agree with this view.
Advantages of the daily regimen:
1) observance of the child's regime is a guarantee for his health ( timely nutrition, mandatory walks, the necessary amount of sleep, etc.);
2) according to doctors, the regime strengthens the immune system - the subconscious learns that everything has time: eating, sleeping, walking, and the body adapts, sleep becomes deep, appetite increases;
3) integration of tasks - ultimately, creates predictability. The regime helps to avoid chaos, turmoil, helplessness, surprises, which in turn makes children calmer and more confident;
4) if the child is accustomed to living during the regime, the parents do not have to constantly give instructions;
5) the regime helps children to adapt to the new environment (kindergarten, school);
6) everyday life contributes to the development of self-discipline skills, which will certainly help the child in adulthood;
7) as a result of the regime, more time can be spent on unregulated activities, as the necessary ones are carried out unquestioningly.
Thus, the regime during the day is not a strict schedule for certain tasks, but a simple way to meet all the basic needs of the child.
The regime of the newborn is built gradually . It is especially difficult for a breastfed child to build a regimen because the mother cannot control how much milk the baby eats at each feeding. Sometimes the baby can wake up early and often wants to breastfeed, and on other days he can sleep longer than usual. But if you try to follow the same pattern every day, at least in general, the regime will gradually become a part of your life.
Schedule this is a flexible concept. As the child grows, he can and must change. The transition to two, then to one sleep, the introduction of additional meals and later - the launch of kindergarten and school are stages significantly affecting everyday life. Of course, each family has its own regime.
